I’ve spent the last 25 years working in the hospitality industry –mostly hotel catering, sales and convention services. (clearly I was a teenager when I began!)
It’s what I know and what I love.
Originally from the northeast, I began my career at a small, independent hotel. After 10 years, and moving south, I found my way into larger properties including Marriott and Gaylord palms.
I have experienced every aspect of an event from selling to planning, and executing. Spending time with banquets, set up, front office and even in the kitchen has given me a well rounded appreciation for what it takes to produce an event.
I have always believed that building strong relationships is the key to great business and I take pride in the long lasting friendships that I have been fortunate to develop as a result of some of those connections.
My alter ego is passionate about nutrition, health and wellness. I am a total foodie – catering was a perfect place for me! I love flavorful, usually healthy foods- but could never give up my favorite brownies or ice cream. Traveling to new and familiar destinations is another passion I look forward to doing a lot more of.

I make a mean apple pie, will try, at least once, to fix just about anything in my house (emphasis on the word try!) and can always rationalize just about anything.
